ALL ADOPTIONS WILL NOW BE APPOINTMENT BASED! You must be at least 21 years of age.
After you have filled out your COMPLETE APPLICATION you will be contacted by our staff to book your appointment time! At least 2 visits are required with most adoptions, as spay and neuters need to be completed first. With many applications coming in it could take a minimum of 24 hours to be contacted. We thank you for your patience!
These past 4 years have taught us a lot! We love our community and are grateful everyday for their support. We worried if we would be able to adopt animals, if our donors would continue to donate, would our staff remain healthy. We worried for nothing, you were there for us every step of this journey with unwavering support. Something else we noticed that caught us completely off guard, was how quiet and content that our adoptable animals were. Before COVID people could walk back and see the animals and as much as they love to see everyone, it does cause them to become excited and in many cases stressed out as they are vying for your attention. We will continue doing our adoptions by applications. We will book appointments for you to meet the pet you are interested in. It is our job to speak for the animals and as their temporary home, we want them to feel as safe, calm, and secure as they can during their stay with us. Booking appointments will not only keep the animal content, it will also allow us to focus on you and be sure that we can answer all of your questions and give you the time to interact with the animal you are interested in.
